Damsel & Dragon
Damsel flies are common on rivers and still water throughout the warmer months of the year. The nymphs are the main target for trout although the adults will be taken if the opportunity arises. Damsel fly nymphs are twitched back to imitate the swimming nymph and are very successful flies. Damsel nymphs are successfully fished as a general imitation throughout the year even when the naturals are not present.
