Muddlers & Sedgehogs
Muddlers are unique types of fishing flies that are highly adaptable and can be fished in different ways. The addition of a bit of fly floatant will float the fishing fly on the surface film whilst a sharp pull can sink the fly so it fishes like a wet fly. Muddlers have become very popular fishing flies as they can be pulled along the surface film creating a ripple and a wake which can trigger trout to chase and attack the fly. Sedgehogs are fantastic deer hair flies good at imitating a wide range of flies but especially the sedge.
