Yellow May

The yellow may is one of the easiest upwing flies to identify owing to its sulphur yellow colour. It will start to hatch in late May or rivers and stillwater and continue through in to July. The heaviest hatches are concentrated towards the north or the UK but sporadic hatches can occur anywhere.
