March Brown

Hatching mainly in the north of England the march brown is easy identify by its size and time of year. Apart from a large dark olive it will pretty much be the only upwing fly you will see on the river through March. When hatching it can provide some great opportunity if the water is warm enough for fish to be active feeders that early in the season.
