Flies For The River Frome

The river Frome is a chalk stream that flows for around 20 miles from South Gloucestershire through to Bristol. There is a superb head of Wild Brown Trout as well as stocked fish. The Frome is also noted for it's large Grayling and records have been broken on this river. Flies for the river Frome consist of good hatches of Olives, Caddis and Mayfly.

The Frome is an excellent dry fly river but nymph fishing can be superb where the rules allow. Our flies for the river Frome cover all the likely bases and will provide the angler with great patterns for a days fly fishing.
