We adapted our own colour scheme to suit some of those river that call for a red fly pattern and this one fits the bill perfectly. Originally designed by Duncan Egan the copper tube Pot Bellied Pig fly is in most anglers fly boxes. It is a renown Atlantic Salmon catcher with its tantalizing quivering boar bristles and pulsing body and throat hackles. It has been tied in many colour schemes but the Raptor is a Autumn to backend pattern fished in all colours of water.
Salmon flies are currently transitioning to synthetic JC.
