The olive pupa tungsten beaded nymph is a brilliant fishing fly for imitating the caddis pupa as it starts to ascend to the surface. As a fishing fly, it will also do a dandy job of imitating other small olive nymphs and insects in the water. A wonderful trout fly that is equally effective for the grayling. When out guiding this is one of our favorites fly patterns for exploring the deeper fast flowing sections of our river.
