These feathers are selected from premium genetic dry fly saddles and individually graded at Peaks Fly Fishing for precise dry fly proportions.
Each feather is measured against Ahrex dry fly hooks and sized to approximately 1.5× hook gape – the accepted standard for balanced, high-floating dry flies.
Every pack contains:
- 10 hand-selected dry fly hackle feathers
- Fine, clean stems
- Dense, stiff barb structure
- Consistent sizing through the usable tying section
- No webby base or filler feathers
Feathers are sold by exact hook size:

Each feather falls within its stated size band when wrapped at 1.5× gape.
