The river Tyne runs for 73 miles and is formed when the North Tyne and South Tyne meet. Vastly improved water quality and habbotat means the Tyne is Now one of England's prolific Salmon rivers. The Tyne will see fresh fish entering the system throughout the year. Although there is always chance of a Spring fish the numbers steadily increase throughout the year and September & October normally see’s the best returns.
