The Beaded Olive Copperhead Nymph Barbless is a compact olive nymph for trout and grayling feeding below the surface. The copper-coloured bead adds weight and a restrained trigger point, while the olive body gives the impression of small upwinged nymphs and other aquatic insects.
It is particularly useful as the lower fly in a dry-dropper setup, where the bead helps the nymph settle beneath a buoyant dry fly. It can also be dead-drifted through river seams or retrieved slowly on stillwater. Adjust leader length to fish it just above weed, gravel or the depth at which fish are holding.
