The Ressie Dink Hares Lug is a highly effective, stillwater indicator fly designed by Peaks Fly Fishing director and head guide David Johnson. Its natural hare's-ear body gives the surface fly a subdued, insect-like profile while it supports a subsurface pattern in ripple.
A ring at the rear of the fly makes it easy to tie on a dropper. Add a buzzer or small nymph, balance its weight carefully and fish the pair static or with a very slow retrieve. Placed accurately, it gives you every chance of seeing a trout commit at the surface.
