Many thanks for the feedback Peter, and also for your order with us, it is very much appreciated.
From our understanding, you may be fishing flies such as Puddle Buzzers or other weighted patterns beneath the Ressie Dink. The Dink patterns were primarily developed around suspending lightweight epoxy buzzers and similarly lightweight nymphs without weighted beads.
With heavier suspended flies, it can sometimes be possible for the pattern to gradually sit lower in the surface film over the course of a session, particularly as leaders begin to sag slightly, naturally trapped air within the dressing, hackle and dubbing disperses over time, and small amounts of debris such as fish slime, weed or dirt build up during use.
We always appreciate detailed and constructive customer feedback, and comments such as these are genuinely useful as part of ongoing product development and refinement.
Best Wishes,
David - Peaks Fly Fishing
