The Puddle Buzz Olive Barbless is a brilliant, hybrid stillwater nymph with a lighter olive body and chartreuse bead. It is a bright attractor that is particularly effective for stocked rainbow trout. It can suggest an active buzzer or small aquatic nymph while the bead provides a clear trigger and helps control depth.
Fish it static beneath an indicator, twitch it near the bottom or retrieve it slowly like a midge pupa. Long pauses allow the fly to settle back into the feeding layer. An excellent fish catcher - vary the retrieve and be ready for a decisive hit.
