The Klink and Dink Black Midge Barbless is a brilliant, compact, dark Klinkhammer-style fly for dry-dropper fishing during midge activity. Its black body sits low in the film and can be taken as an emerger while supporting a small subsurface fly.
A ring at the rear of the fly makes it easy to tie on a dropper. Pair it with a tiny, lightly weighted nymph or buzzer and keep the rig balanced so the dry remains visible. An excellent fish catcher - few moments beat watching a trout lift and take it cleanly.
