The Greenwell's Glory Winged Wet Fly is the traditional winged form of James Wright's olive imitation. Its slim body and dark wing suggest an olive dun that is emerging, drowned or trapped just beneath the surface.
Fish it during olive activity on rivers, either upstream, across-and-down or as part of a wet-fly team. Let the current animate the hackle and maintain a controlled presentation through the taking water. Be ready for a firm pull as the fly works through the taking water.
