The Coachman Winged Wet Fly is an excellent, traditional dark wet fly with a contrasting white wing. Its peacock body and strong silhouette make it a useful searching pattern for rivers and stillwaters rather than a close imitation of one insect.
Swing it through river pools or fish it in a wet-fly team on lakes. Use a controlled retrieve with pauses so the wing and hackle move naturally. The mobile dressing gives it fish-catching presence throughout the drift.
