Midge

The midge is one of the most abundant flies in the UK on both rivers and streams. Because of this, it's an essential fishing fly. The midge is one of the  few flies in nature that is present in all its life cycle stages throughout the year. Midge imitations can be excellent still water flies through the winter months.
