The Bloodworm Glass Barbless Size 10 is a translucent chironomid-larva pattern for stillwater trout. Bloodworms live in soft sediment, and the glassy body gives the fly the sheen and segmented appearance of a natural larva moving close to the bed.
Fish it beneath an indicator or on a floating line with a long leader, allowing it to settle near silt, weed edges and shallow shelves. Retrieve with tiny draws and long pauses rather than fast pulls. It can also be used as the point fly beneath lighter buzzers.
