The Green Eyes Damsel is a superb, olive stillwater damsel pattern with a contrasting green bead tied just behind the mobile hackle. The bead adds a restrained colour focal point, while the flowing materials create movement around weed beds, reeds and margins.
Fish it on a floating or intermediate line with a slow figure-of-eight. Allow it to sink before retrieving and pause regularly so the materials continue to move. Its colour and movement give it the presence to turn a following trout into a confident take.
