The Curveback Damsel is an excellent, olive stillwater pattern with a curved profile that suggests a swimming or resting damselfly nymph. Its mobile materials are most relevant around weed beds, reeds and shallow margins.
Fish it on a floating or intermediate line with a slow figure-of-eight or short pulls and pauses. Allow it to sink before retrieving and keep the movement restrained. A lively pattern to reach for when you want to put a bend in the rod.
