The Cinnamon Sedge is a brilliant, dry fly for adult caddis with warm cinnamon-brown colouring. Its roof-shaped wing and buoyant profile imitate sedges resting, hatching or returning to the water, particularly during evening activity.
Fish it through river glides, riffles and bankside seams. Begin with a dead drift, then try a short lift or controlled skate because adult caddis often move across the surface. On stillwaters, work it near margins and wind lanes. An excellent fish catcher to reach for when you want to fish with confidence.
