The Blue Eyes Damsel is an excellent, olive stillwater damsel pattern with a contrasting blue bead tied just behind the mobile hackle. The bead provides a clear colour trigger, while the flowing body and hackle create movement during the retrieve and pauses.
Fish it around weed beds and margins on a floating or intermediate line. Use short pulls, a slow figure-of-eight and deliberate pauses. A lively pattern to reach for when you want to put a bend in the rod.
