Robert White designed the original Raider pattern and I have been using this style with a couple of different colour schemes for different waters. The Copper Raider can be fished from early April right through to autumn. We have found it fishes very well on all the Northern Rivers and fishes best on slightly or coloured water from the south of the river Tay.
Salmon flies are currently transitioning to synthetic JC.
