The Perch is a size 4/0 baitfish imitation for fly fishing for pike. Its perch-inspired profile makes it a useful option where small perch form part of the predator’s diet.
Work it around weed edges, drop-offs and other likely holding areas, varying the retrieve with strips and pauses. Select your fly line to suit the fishing depth and use a suitable wire trace.
Hook size: 4/0.
