The Flamethrower is a size 4/0 fly for targeting pike. Use it as part of a searching approach, covering weed edges, drop-offs and other likely holding areas before changing retrieve speed or fishing depth.
Alternate strips with pauses and choose a fly line that keeps the pattern at the required depth. Use a wire trace suitable for pike fishing.
Hook size: 4/0.
