Caddis

The caddis or the sedge fly as it is often referred to by anglers is one of most common flies in the UK. In both river and still water, caddis flies will represent a fairly high proportion of the fishes diet. Caddis will be eaten in all their lifecycle stages - larva, pupa & adult. There are a few different species of caddis that hatch throughout the year.
