The original gold ribbed hares ear fishing fly is an all time classic. The fibres that protrude from the fly suggest the legs or tails of a moving creature such as a nymph.The gold rib suggests the segmentation of the nymphs body often found in nature.
A classic trout fly, the GRHE is it often referred to is a must have trout fly and and essential fly pattern on both river and still water.
Good quality hook and tied really well, only one thing the hooks seem to be a size bigger than standard but not a complaint, I just order a size smaller
