Hackled Wets & Snatchers

As the name suggests, hackled wet flies are fishing flies with a hackle tied in near the eye of the hook. On these trout flies, the natural movement of the hackle feathers suggest the movement of legs, tails and wings of either an emerging or drowning insect. Wet flies are popular fishing flies on both river or still water where they have been in use for many hundreds of years.
